The only good trailer made this year. The dialogue is so weird at times it seems super real. Oh boy, this movie hits me in the feels. It's funny at times, and is just brimming to the top with emotions. She's an amazing actor, and its adorable. Absolutely one of the best movies I've seen. Its “ the frog prince” at the best version ( in my humble opinion. But this time, instead of kissing the frog and wait for him to become the prince, this time, you let “ love to transform you”. At the core, this is one of the smartest modern fairy tales that you will ever see. The script has so many dimensions and layers. In this movie, the characters that allowed love transform them, they turned out to be better persons while the characters that let hate take over them destroyed himself and even his own family. The movie asks one of the most important questions, Can you look past the outside and really love someone because what's inside that person. Instead of trying to change someone or something, The Shape of Water suggests that we might let love transform us and miracle will happen.
Sid Mead would be proud of the technical design. Just wow what a masterpiece. The creature reminds me of Creature of the Black Lagoon. I'm laughing my ass off at the people bitching that this movie was long and boring. If you're going in to watch a sequel to a movie do yourself a favor; research what you're going to watch ex. Run time and type of film. 2 watch the original. That should give you a giant perspective. Don't go in watching la la land and expecting an action movie.

I wasn't expecting it to be so cute. Eliza dancing with Giles while they watch show tunes, her friendship with Zelda, that first music scene with the creature. So many good scenes. This trailer made me pregnant! Why. As a major fan of Cowboy Bebop, I gotta admit: this was awesome! The animation, the nuance, Gaffs cameo, and the frickin action sequences! Loved it. Going through a Martin McDonagh period (love him; love theater) and really enjoyed the movie. Saw it when it first came out. Seven Psychopaths is next, but I think this one needs a second time before my 48 hours expire. Frances McDormand is wonderful, as always. Definitely going to rent In Bruges and only wish could rent Beauty Queen of Leenane. God, Martin, you are so freaking talented. Thanks for sharing your gift.

Ohhh NOW I get it, made by an Irish man raised-up in England. Well no wonder this movie portrayed such a MEAN spirit and had a OVER abundant use of the F-Word. That plus Woody Harrelson being thrown-in for 'good' measure... There is a continuity problem as well as factors in this movie that do not make sense. Blade Runner 2049 is similar to The Force Awakens,it answers questions that probably didnt need to be is so slow it is is fine the 'breakout star' Ana de Armas is stunning and one of the highlights of the other highlight of this film sets a new benchmark in second (of two) highlight of this film is the reintroduction of Rachel.I watched the making of this special effect and they absolutely nailed it.I would arguably say that this is one of the benchmarks of special digital double the producers created is totally convincing and is worth watching but not trudging through the rest of the film.
The acting was excellent, as was the cinematography. Most of the divergence from the original novel is very justifiable to our times. I have but one minor criticism, regarding the racial references made in the movie. In the novel, Poirot doesn't need any more encouragement to 'take on the case' than his friend Bouc's flattering praises. The movie suggests that Poirot's decision to investigate is due to Bouc's warning that if they don't have the whole case solved by the time the train is freed and they arrive at the next station, the police will make an arrest with or without any evidence, and it most likely will be Mr. Marquez (for his Hispanic name) or Dr. Arbuthnot (for the color of his skin. As a white man; I have no real right to suggest that people of color should be offended by this or not. People of color may find it refreshing and respectful of the reality of life then and now. I thought it was very contrived and pandered a bit too much. I could be completely wrong, but for the train director (an elite member of society and the person held accountable for the safety of the passengers) to not openly blame one of the very two people he seems to protect from the beginning, and not actually use them as a scapegoat himself, would seem much less likely in those days, I would think. I wonder what Ms. Christie would say.
